This notice describes optional measurement on makermerge.app. It is separate from data you work with inside the MakerMerge desktop app.
Advertising measurement
Only after you allow measurement, this website loads a Google Ads tag. Google can receive information such as advertising identifiers, page visits, store-link clicks, your IP address and browser or device information. This helps us understand whether advertising leads people to our app listings. We do not enable personalized advertising or send customer emails, names, or MakerMerge project contents to this tag.
A click to the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store is only an outbound click. It is not proof that you downloaded the app or purchased MakerMerge Pro. The stores process downloads and purchases under their own policies.
When you visit through an eligible Google ad and allow measurement, links to the Apple and Microsoft stores include a campaign code. This code identifies the advertising campaign, not an individual visitor. We do not add other incoming URL parameters or advertising click identifiers to store links, or save campaign attribution in browser storage. Apple and Microsoft may use the code to report related downloads and Pro purchases, subject to their attribution rules and privacy thresholds. Store links remain untagged without your permission or when the visit is not associated with an eligible campaign. Withdrawing permission restores ordinary links for future visits to the stores; it cannot retract a store visit already made.
Your choice
If optional measurement is enabled, you can allow or decline it using Website privacy choices. The site works either way. Allowing applies only to the current page visit and expires no later than 90 days; a fresh full page load asks again. A decline is stored locally in this browser for up to 90 days when browser storage is available. Declining prevents this site's advertising tag from loading. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not retract data already sent. Google may receive a final consent-change signal when permission is withdrawn.
Our hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from optional advertising measurement.
